The 526 features a replaceable and removable pan arm rosette, designed so that if any damage occurs to the side castings only a small part needs to be replaced. Its large rubber padded knobs provide enhanced grip and all the controls (tilt and pan lock, tilt drag) are located on the left side so they can easily be reached The 526 provides a fluid drag system comprised of three step settings for low, medium and high drag levels (numbered 1, 2 and 3), plus an additional no-drag setting (number 0) for occasions such as snap-pans/tilts. It features continuous counterbalance system for weights between 8 to 15 Kg @ 125 mm C.O.G. The built-in 100mm half-ball adapts to a number of our tripods, allowing quick camera levelling with the aid of the leveling bubble. It is provided with the 357PLV-1 sliding plate, 2 x 1/4' and 2 x 3/8' camera screws and a removable anti-rotation pin.
