The Tour F12 EPF adds muscle to Marker's touring range. The hollow axle heel focuses energy directly to the rear of the boot for optimum skiing performance; the wide EPF platform drives power to the edges. A height adjustable gliding AFD accommodates AT and alpine boots. Requires a ski at least 88mm wide. Overview Binding Type Backcountry Frame (Multi Norm) Boot Compatibility It's a Multi Norm binding so it will accept Alpine, Tour, GripWalk, WTR Skier Type Backcountry, Tourers. Frame bindings are simple to use and a good choice for skiers who want the safety of alpine release functions on the way down. They work with a variety of boots, making them a great choice for anyone who doesn't want to swap to boots with Pin inserts. They are a bit heavier than other systems, so suit someone who isn't obsessed with speed on the ascent. The EPF version requires a ski over 88mm in the waist meaning it wil appeal to skiers where the descent is an improtant part of the day and they prefer a wider ski with more float. Key Features SKIING, EPF - Extended Power Frame The power booster. The power frame delivers breath-taking performance and amazing power transfer in every condition. Recommended for skis over 88 mm. SKIING, Hollow Linkage Heel The power booster. The power frame delivers breath-taking performance and amazing power transfer in every condition. Recommended for skis over 88 mm. SKIING, AFD Gliding Plate A moveable AFD (anti friction device) supports a precise, consistant release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow, ice or boot sole. CLIMBING, Hollow Tech The fibre-reinforced frame base plate provides impressive rigidity and stability, yet very light for climbing due to the gas injected hollow construction. CLIMBING, Climbing Aids The climbing aid offers two positions with 7deg and 13deg which can easily be accessed with the ski pole, even in an unstable standing position. Integrated elastomer paddings dampen the impact reducing the irritating traditional clack and allow more comfortable hiking. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.

After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.

Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
