Signed ''To Sally Best Wishes Andrew Davies'' on the title page. If you're of a certain age you may remember the splendid 'Educating Marmalade' childrens' TV series on ITV, starring the much-missed Charlotte Coleman (later in '4 Weddings & A Funeral'), and featuring Brian Glover as a nun (Sister Conception) - amongst other people; it had a pretty starry cast altogether, tho' most were in single episodes only. Andrew Davies wrote the series and the novels. This novel had been in H/B in 1979 under the title 'Marmalade and Rufus'. Cover is very decent, only small creases & minimal fading; minor wear to spine & corners. Binding tight. Text-block edges are tanned & somewhat speckled. Pages' margins also tanned, with occasional blotch, as usual with p/bs of this age. Minute nick on fore-edge of title page. Overall, decent for its age.
