An illustrated history of Maxim's restaurant in Paris, well-known as the haunt of artists from Salvador Dali to Andy Warhol, and of actors from Sarah Bernhardt to Orson Welles. The extravagant Art Noveau design and decor of the restaurant are profusely illustrated in colour.
