And even though the team has decided to stick to the original spelling, they aren't just stuck in the past -- McConnell's is also making waves in the present, winning awards, gaining a reputation as a must-have Whisky in bars across the city, and even building a shiny new distillery and a visitor center at the Crumlin Road Goal in Belfast. Their Sherry Cask Finish Whisky is an expertly crafted nectar, aged for five years in first-fill select Bourbon barrels before receiving its finishing touches in the finest Oloroso Sherry casks. The result? A Spirit that teases your senses with rich flavors of Demerara sugar, dark cherries, black raspberry, dark chocolate, and red apples. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it packs a bold and complex flavor profile that earned it a 92 rating from Wine Enthusiast.
