Meccano Magazine was an English monthly hobby magazine published by Meccano Ltd between 1916 and 1963, and by other publishers between 1963 and 1981. The magazine was initially created for Meccano builders, but it soon became a general hobby magazine aimed at "boys of all ages". The first editor was Frank Hornby. This copy is a bound edition, containing issues 1-12 (Jan-Dec) of Vol XIX (1934). 1,072 pp, followed by colour copies of the 12 monthly covers. . Hardback, dark brown / black covers; in good order, with stamped border design. Bands to spine, label to spine is missing. see photos. Minor scuffs and minor edgewear, with minor bumping to cover corners and to head and foot of spine. Binding very good. Block clean; with natural age darkening. Minor foxing to endpapers, which are otherwise clean, with no inscriptions or other writings noted. Text, images and photos throughout are very clean, with no tears, marks or annotations noted. Minor tanning to page edges. Overall, this is a lovely copy. Please be aware that this volume is heavy and therefore extra postage will be requested.
