Melbray of London is an iconic British label responsible for gorgeous dresses in the 1950s-1960s. This little black number is in taffeta with large puffed sleeves. Scooped neckline with long line back zip. The skirt is in a traditional flapper style with fringing and silk ribbon layering. There is a simple material belt with a 'diamante' clasp - missing a number of 'stones' but still looking good. No label to clarify fabric or care advice - but would suggest a careful hand wash. Size 16 on the label - but looks more like a 14
