Halley Stevenson's are the world's leading waxed cotton fabric innovators, manufacturers and suppliers of specialist weatherproofed canvas. They create outdoor fashion apparel fabric and quality luggage canvas at their Baltic Works plant in Dundee, Scotland, UK, and have been established since 1864. The first patent was awarded to the brand in 1910 for 'cleaning and waterproofing textiles', and now with over 150 years of experience they are able to create many thousands of meters of waxed cotton every year, with each roll produced to custom specifications. Merlin has been at the forefront of material sourcing and control processes for many years now, and found the process of transitioning to new prEN17092 standard for CE compliance straightforward.For rider protection, the Chigwell Lite Cotec Jacket, D30 LP1 Shoulder and Elbow protectors have been pre-fitted (CE compliance to EN1621), and there is also a D30 Viper Stealth Back Protector pre-fitted.
