Cordura Classic fabrics are resistant to tears, scuffs and abrasions, so they are not only high quality, but also long lasting. This jacket comes with a 3-in-1 interchangeable Texland Reissa active waterproof and 100g synthetic thermal layering system that is designed to keep the rider dry at all times, no matter what weather they get caught in. This jacket also features tough, high-quality YKK zippers throughout.This jacket features protection throughout. It has D3O LP1 shoulder and elbow protectors pre-fitted, a D3O Viper Stealth back protector pre-fitted and D3O CP1 chest armour pre-fitted. This jacket features a jacket-to-jean connecting zip which means this jacket can be connected to any other Merlin jeans. The Mahala Pro has a sculpted front hem and a zipped hem opening.This jacket is rated to CE EN17092 Level AA. The protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).
