The synthetic weave is specifically manufactured to look like Natural Water Hyacinth - due to environmental concerns overseas over the harvesting of natural rattan Water Hyacinth is now becoming vastly popular in the western world. The fact that this is outdoor Water Hyacinth is what makes it unique. Water Hyacinth is predominantly used for indoor furniture with very few synthetic varieties for outdoor use found in the UK market. At 8mm thick the weave is finished perfectly for that eye-catching, centre-piece feel and it's UV stabilised so it won't fade over time. As with any type of synthetic weave the Montana is virtually maintenance-free simply requiring a quick wipe over every now and again. Expert crafts people are employed to hand-weave our sofa sets in reputable factories in Indonesia. These people are time-served and pass their skills down through generations meaning their quality is unmatched in any market. The technique used is similar to that used with traditional cane weaves where thinner, strand-fibers are used to support the main weave itself to give added strength and a tighter knit whole that will last for years. This is supported by a sturdy, reinforced aluminium frame - take a look at our picture above to see the sturdy, immovable structure this forms.. The same high quality on the outside is repeated on the outside. The chunky feet are hand-crafted from teak wood and have two, toughened plastic caps fitted that protect the suite and the place it rests. The quality and sturdiness of the workmanship means that 'no-sag' seating is standard this compliments the market-leading Olefin or 100% Waterproof Cushions that we're offering for free. Need a Cushion Box as well? Not a problem - we do cushion boxes to match so you'll have a place to store the cushions in winter and a beautiful feature-piece at the same time. Our cushion boxes provide the perfect solution. Woven from the same weave they have the same sturdy aluminium frame and are lined for complete water-proofing. Please Note - Our Montana Range is offered with two cushion types as per the picture detail above. Standard Outdoor Cushions do absorb water but dry very quickly through a resin-fibre sandwich filling. Waterproof Outdoor Cushions are 100% water resistant with a UPVC inner lining and inner protective bag for the filling itself.
