This is an exclusive blend created by Majestic's rose buyer, Matt Fowkes and winemaker Noemie Delavigne. Mythral plays homage to the fable of the dragon of Provence, 'La Coulobre'. The name 'Mythral' is an ode to both the myth of this dragon and the Mistral wind that blows through the Provence region. With its light, elegant and aromatic profile, Mythral is everything you want a Provence rose to be. Celebrating the hallmarks of the south of France landscape - fields of lavender and poppies, Mediterranean Sea, reliable sunshine - the wine is made from vineyards that stretch from the Varois hinterland down to the coast, with altitudes scraping 500m in some cases. Winemaker Noemie Delavigne trained in Champagne and has worked in France's finest wine regions, now crafting this enchanting bottling with zippy flavours of red berries, white peach and citrus with a mineral finish. It makes for a great aperitif but also try it with shellfish, fresh salads or even chocolate.
