Nada a Dizer by Elvira Vigna (in Brazilian Portuguese). Softcover, published 2010 by Companhia das Letras. "Nothing to Say" is the story of adultery, narrated from the point of view of the betrayed woman. However, much more than the inventory of losses and damages in which this type of report usually consists, what is found in these pages is a thorough investigation of the motivations of each one involved, as well as an indirect discussion of the possibilities of loving understanding in the contemporary urban world. Themes such as loyalty, self-knowledge and coexistence emerge from the evolution of the triangle formed by Paulo, his lover N. and the narrator, whose name is not revealed. A fleeting triangle, in which a couple of middle-aged alternatives, experienced in the political and behavioral revolutions of the 1960s, is shaken by the arrival of a lover twenty years younger and with a profile that neither one nor the other would hesitate. to call "bourgeois" in their youth. The book is in very good condition but has a library stamp and a handwritten date on the first page.
