A little browning of the edges and endpapers. No ill. 146pp. 6 lectures given at Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania in 1932, but now re-ordered as 9 chapters. Mainly on folk-songs, their evolution and influence. The first lecture is entitled 'Should Music be National?' and is answered in the affirmative. This copy PS19.99
