An attractive & unusual adjustable cuff bangle, set with a natural amber cabochon. The bangle is a shiny, silver tone, with it's focal point being a swirly flower shape. Amber is fossilized tree resin, which has been appreciated for its colour & natural beauty since Neolithic times. Amber is a natural material, therefore colour & appearance can vary. They range from a bright yellow/orange to brown. This was a pleasure to design & make for anyone who loves amber & its earthy tones. The one in the photograph is the one you will receive. DIMENSIONS The bangle is made from shiny silver plated copper. Copper is a malleable metal, therefore size adjustment can be carried out. The bangle is open & will fit wrist sizes from 15cm (6 inch) to 20cm (8 inch). Size adjustment is achieved by either squeezing the ends inwardly together to make smaller or by expanding them outwards to make wider. The arms of the bangle are 0.6cm (1/4 inch) in width, which increases to 1.5cm (9/16th inch) at the central part of the bangle, directly beneath the amber. The total length of the metal flower is 4.75cm (approximately 1 & 3/4 inch) & 2.7cm (1 & 1/16th inch) at it's widest point. The amber cabochon is round, smooth & domed with a diameter of 1.2cm (approximately 1/2 inch). VARIATIONS This bangle design is available in many other colours & stones.
