A first edition, first print run copy of 'Need More Love: A Graphic Memoir' written by Aline Kominsky Crumb with contributions from husband Robert Crumb and daughter Sophie. Published by MQ Publications, London in 2007. Aline Kominsky Crumb (1948 - 1922) was one of the first female cartoonists in the 1960s and became famous for her graphic, underground comic book style. This volume tells the story of her life journey via text, comics, other artworks and her photograph archive, from her childhood and teenage years in New York to achieving worldwide fame in California and later living in a medieval chateau in France. Illustrated dustjacket. Illustrated hardcovers with illustrated endpapers, measuring 18cm x 24.5cm. 383 pp., packed full with cartoons and photographs, in colour and black and white. Weighs>1.5 kg. In very fine condition. Looks to have never been read.
