The New Zealand Pounamu Koru Necklace by DS Jewellery. Pounamu is a precious and powerful stone that is exclusively found in New Zealand. Pounamu jewellery is often carved into traditional Mori symbols and it carries special meaning for its wearer. This necklace has been carved into Koru (Sprial) which resembles the unfurling frond of the native silver fern of New Zealand. The Koru depicts new beginnings, life and hope.
