Nytol Liquid 300ml What is Nytol Liquid? Nytol Liquid Caramel Flavour is clinically proven to aid sleep and reduce sleeplessness. If you don't like taking tablets, Nytol Liquid is an easy to swallow option. With the help of a common antihistamine, diphenhydramine hydrochloride, you drift off quickly, sleep comfortably and wake up feeling refreshed. What is an antihitamine? When you are in contact with something you’re allergic to, such as pollen, your body begins to produce histamine. Histamine is an immune response to allergic substances and causes symptoms like watery eyes and sneezing with the intention to remove the allergen from your body. Antihistamines block histamine receptors, helping to prevent those symptoms from occurring right from the start. Warnings and Precautions DO NOT exceed the recommended dose. DO NOT give to children under the age of 16 years old. Do not use if: You are allergic to diphenhydramine hydrochloride or any of the other listed ingredients this medication contains You have a peptic ulcer or a blockage between your stomach and small intestine. Speak to your GP or pharmacist before taking if: You have Myasthenia gravis (abnormal muscle function) You have seizures or epilepsy You have Asthma, bronchitis, or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) You have narrow-angle glaucoma You have an enlarged prostate You have difficulty urinating You have moderate to severe liver or kidney problems Are elderly, especially if you suffer from confusion Ingredients Active Ingredients: 5ml of Nytol Liquid contains 10mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Other ingredients: purified water, sucrose, sodium saccharin, propylene glycol, glycerin, parahydroxybenzoates (methyl E218, ethyl E214, propyl E216 & butyl), caramel flavouring, colouring (caramel E150).
