"Lanoo" is a Sanskrit word for student, a seeker of truth. Based on the story of Dzyan which is central to Madame Blavatsky's "Secret Doctrine", this book teaches about our origins and our destiny. It comprises 19 stanzas and tells of the journey of the Pilgrim-soul in a series of lives in the bodies of Seven Races of Man. The Third Race, Lemuria, and the Fourth Race, Atlantis, gave way to our own Fifth Race of Man. In the last three Races, wisdom bought with experience will rise again. In our Fifth Race we will begin to loosen the shackles of the body and move ever closer to Spirit, and one day be joined by the forerunners of the Sixth Race. Man will eventually leave behind his temporary world of Matter with the spiritual union that awaits the Seventh Race. From the Author: Who needs another spiritual book? There are so many spiritual & philosophical books available how on earth can an author hope to get his book noticed? Well, O LANOO! is the story of God, Mankind & the Universe, distilled from the ancient wisdom hidden away in Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine". Written in the form of an epic poem it tells the story of the pilgrim soul as it journeys from Universal Spirit through creation and evolution. Starting before Big Bang it travels through the Ages of Man, including Lemuria & Atlantis, and our current Age is not the end of the story. Paperback in excellent condition. With random annotations in light pencil.
