Oeuvres Completes (Complete Works) by Charles Baudelaire. Published entirely in French, by Editions du Seuil in 1968. Fabric hardcover with worn plastic dust jacket. Binding is tight, and pages and images are clear and easy to read. Signature and pasted image on first page from previous owner. Charles Baudelaire was a French poet, known for the book Les Fleurs du mal, and often credited as the first Modernist. Many of his works were published posthumously after his death in 1867. The Oeuvres Completes were a series of volumes of his work published from 1922-1953.
