What is Omeprazole? Omeprazole is a medicine licensed for use in acid reflux. It belongs to the "Proton Pump Inhibitor" or "PPI" group of medicines. belongs to a group of medicines called ‘proton pump inhibitors’ or "PPIs" for short. How do PPIs work?
