Ordnance Survey Quarter-inch Map Of Great Britain (fourth Edition) Sheet 10 England, South-west
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
Scarce vintage Ordnance Survey map of south-west England from 1946. The outer card covers have tanning and edge wear with some chipping of the top layer of printed paper. The front cover with a blue edge has a map of the area covered and a small re-pricing sticker of five shillings over the original price information; inside it has information about the National Grid and the Reference System. The rear cover has a faded map of Great Britain showing the divisions into quarter-inch maps and a sheet fixed to the inside with plans of 11 towns, plus more reference information. The map itself measures 621 x 839mm and is in very good condition with just some very light tanning along a couple of the fold lines.
