To honour the 55th anniversary of the occasion which see's brave pilots taking to the skies and skimming wingtip-to-wingtip across the Nevada desert floor, Oris have released this stunning new Oris Big Crown Reno Air Races Limited Edition with only 550 pieces being made. The Oris Big Crown watch collection was the perfect choice to commemorate the anniversary of the Reno Air Races. It's cool, clean and classic look was originally inspired by the world of aviation while the sleek stainless steel case and coin edged bezel is designed after jet engine turbines. The striking black dial of this Oris Big Crown 55th Reno Air Races Limited Edition is decorated with propeller styled hands coated in Superluminova and housed beneath domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass for easy legibility. Powering the hour, minute, seconds, date and day functions is the impressive Oris 752 automatic winding calibre. This exceptional movement also equips the Oris Reno Air Races watch with 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 38 hours.
