Oris Watch Big Crown ProPilot Okavango Air Rescue Limited Edition 01 751 7761 4187-Set Oris celebrates the 10th anniversary of Botswana's aeromedical rescue organisation, Okavango Air Rescue, with this limited edition Oris Big Crown ProPilot watch and its unique textured green dial inspired by the grasslands and marshes of Botswana's Okavango Delta. Independently funded and privately owned, the rescue service is made up of a team of doctors, pilots, nurses, paramedics and administration staff and a polyclinic, which together provide medical services and emergency airborne evacuations for locals and tourists visiting the country. Bringing awareness to the organisation, the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Okavango Air Rescue watch is also engraved with a special case back depicting the organisation's logo and is limited to 2,011 pieces to mark the year the rescue unit was founded. The Oris limited edition's main characteristic is its deep olive dial which beautifully evokes the thriving nature of the Okavango Delta with unique vertical finishing. The green is interrupted by black and white hardware inclusive of Superluminova coated numerals, hands for the hours and minutes and a red-tipped seconds hand. Powering each of these complications is the Oris 751 automatic winding movement with a healthy 38 hour power reserve. The Oris Okavango Air Rescue Limited Edition follows in the footsteps of previous Big Crown ProPilot watches with a 41mm stainless steel case, coin edged bezel, screw in crown and domed sapphire crystal glass which together help assist in a water resistance of 100 metres. To complete the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Okavango Air Rescue watch, a choice of two straps is presented including a green textile strap designed by Erika's Originals and a vintage brown calfskin leather strap, both secured by a stainless steel pin buckle.
