Oxford And Cambridge Cricket
Merchant: Oxfam
Merchant's Category: Media> Books
The history of Oxford and Cambridge cricket is central to a study of the game's development and is contained here in one volume for the first time. The book takes the form of an essay on each University's decade, followed by a report and scorecard for every Varsity match played during that period. It is a mine of information and good writing for the serious student of the game and will be a lasting work of reference on the subject. There are several black and white photos. The dust jack is very slightly torn at the front and there are some stains on the page edges at the base. There is some writing in black biro ink on the fly leaf and some notes on George H Chesterton on the back fly leaf. Otherwise all inside pages are clean. There are several related newspaper articles tucked inside the pages of the book.
