POTAGER SILK SCARF by DARN. The Potager silk scarf was inspired by one of the designer's very favourite places to meet friends, dine and refresh her creative spirits: Potager Garden, located in Constantine, Cornwall. This is a space where both tranquillity and peace are nurtured between the grounds, a large greenhouse and the glasshouse cafe. Amelia spent time immersing herself amongst trees and flowers during the Spring of 2021 when new ideas and inspiration were dwindling and she felt in need of uplifting. Out of this creative residency came this striking colour-focused print with polka dots combined with a new red variation of the Euryops Pectinatus; a plant native to South Africa. Potager is a perfect square with hand rolled edges, a painted red background and hand drawn flowers in coloured pencil with overlay polka dots. Comprises: 100% silk. Gentle hand wash. Do not use soap containing detrimental detergents or bleach. Do not tumble dry. Designed between London and Cornwall, printed in Macclesfield UK, sewn in France. (Photography by Tor Harrison).
