The "Parker's Heritage Collection" is a limited edition series from Heaven Hill. Each year they select a special Bourbon to honor the legendary Heaven Hill Whiskey Master Parker Beam. Since each year is a hand-selected release, the proof, age, and flavor profile varies each year. This year's release -- Parker's Heritage Collection 12th Edition Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey -- is a delicious seven-year-old Bourbon from the upper floors of Rickhouse Q, and finished for four months in French Orange Curacao Liqueur and bottled at nearly cask strength of 55% ABV. Just think about that for a moment. We've never seen -- or tasted -- anything like it, and we say that in all the best possible ways. Smartass corner: Curacao Liqueur is a sweetened Liqueur infused with Laraha (bitter) orange zest. It gets its name from the island where the Laraha oranges are grown in the Caribbean. Retailer: 34
