The set contains 2 strips of tappit cutters with different balloon designs on each. There are 8 different styles of balloons featuring everything from your classic round balloon, to wavy and star shaped balloons and even a balloon animal. The cutters can be used with sugarpaste/fondant, modelling chocolate, modelling paste, flower paste, marzipan and more. Using different coloured sugarpaste is a great way to make vibrant decorations for birthday and party cakes. Make different balloons from different coloured paste and use them all on one big celebration cake or add them to the tops of cupcakes and cookies. The toppers are ideal for celebration cakes and cookies and once pressed out, can be finished with lustre dusts for an added shine to make them look like real balloons. While the cutter size is perfect for cupcake toppers, the balloons would also look amazing adorning the tops and tiers of much larger party cakes. The cutters are also incredibly simple to use: just roll out your fondant or gumpaste etc, lay the cutters over, push down firmly, then tap out of the cutter and you’re done! If you have a little trouble removing the design from cutter, try a scriber tool to ease it out. As this product is from FMM and so made in Britain, you can be sure of the mark of quality.
