The ‘Duo Pear’ has been carefully grafted with two popular, reliable varieties selected for their suitability for the UK climate and their excellent flavour. The best known of all pears, ‘Conference’ bears long, bell-shaped fruits with firm flesh and a smooth juicy flavour that can be eaten hard or fully ripe. Pear 'Doyenne du Comice' is widely regarded as one of the most flavoursome dessert varieties available. The large, sweet fruits have a melt-in-the-mouth texture of the highest quality.Pear ‘Duo Pear’ has been grafted onto a dwarf rootstock, making it ideal for growing in a large container on a sunny patio, terrace or courtyard. An additional feature is provided by white blossom in spring, making ‘Duo Pear’ a stunning ornamental tree as well. Height: 2.5m (8.2ft).
