Simply pinch the tips of the newly grown shoots several times with your thumb and forefinger in the spring and the tree will remain in shape.The Wonder Tree range of fruit trees includes the very best fruit tree varieties, carefully selected for their flavour, disease resistance, hardiness and ease of cultivation. The best known of all pears, 'Conference' is excellent as a dessert pear but also exceptional when cooked. The long bell-shaped fruits have firm, juicy flesh and can be eaten hard or fully ripe. Trees crop late in the season from October to November, and the fruit will store until January. Not only can you enjoy the fruit from this Wonder Tree, but it also makes a handsome ornamental specimen with white blossom in April that attracts beneficial pollinators. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
