Pentangle is Britain's folk-rock supergroup, featuring vocalist Jacqui McShee and not one but two legendary guitarists, John Renbourn and Bert Jansch. Basket of Light, from 1969, is their most popular album, having reached #5 on the UK Album Chart, and is listed in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. "Light Flight" and "Once I Had a Sweetheart" are the two singles. Our copy is in splendid condition. Cover shows little wear except at the corners. Inner gatefold is spotless but for a minor crease near the top of the fold. Inner sleeve is generic paper and seems to be original. Vinyl is free of scratches and scuffs. Surface noise is moderate, revealing itself only in quiet passages. To be super picky, let us point out the tiniest warp in the vinyl which does not affect playback whatsoever.
