Eva Rosestand/Clara Waever is a company with deep lineage in Danish life and culture. What began with the two Waever sisters in Copenhagen in 1870 grew to become a thriving needlework company with rich artistic inspiration and a keen awareness of growing trends. The company produces beautiful patterns and embroidery kits but these are becoming increasingly difficult to locate here in the UK. We offer 2 books containing stunning patterns charted by Pernille Harttung for Eva Rosenstand. Instructions are in Danish, English and Geman. The projects use DMC Threads. Pernille Harttung's Flowers and Berries cross stitch booklet containing timeless patterns for Summer flowers, Ivy Branch, Crowberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Flower bouquet, Yellow and Red Roses, ideas for Place cards/Menu, (plus a recipe for Danish Blackberry Tart/shortbread), Snerle, Bindweed, Winde, Gardenbook, alphabet and numbers for personalisation; and Pernille Harttung's The Lives of Clowns cross stitch booklet offers eight designs of clowns... clowning about, and again there's an alphabet and numbers for personalisation. Both books are in a good, clean condition with slight bumps to corners of covers and spine. See photographs for further information.
