Use Phlox subulata 'Pharao Red Eye' to create a gorgeously fragrant spreading ground cover in borders, rockeries or gravel gardens. This low-growing creeping hardy phlox produces a profusion of beautiful flowers from late spring onwards every year, each flower is a refreshing shade of cool white, detailed with a pink-centre. As this resilient plant established over the years it forms a soft customer of colour which slowly creeps over stones, spills over retaining walls or nestles itself between the stones in a rockery. Growing well in a sunny spot with free-draining soil, you can also enjoy these effective, weed-suppressing ground cover in borders too. Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 50cm (20).
