4mm Round Natural gemstone Hardness: 6.5 - 7 on the Mohs scale Thread hole size 0.8mm Healing properties: Harmony, Protection, Healing Picture Jasper, a variety of brown jasper, is a form of Chalcedony from the Quartz family, easily identifiable by its combinations of intricate patterns that appear to resemble scenes and images. Picture Jasper varies in tone from a golden caramel brown to lighter cream shades with the remarkable banding of colours due to minerals and impurities present within the stone. Picture Jasper has generally been known as a nurturing and protective stone. Jasper is excellent for bringing tranquillity and providing protection whilst picture jasper stone symbolises harmony. These beads measure approximately 4mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 0.8mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours and patterns will vary and natural inclusions are visible. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place jasper stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Jasper can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing jasper to prolonged periods of heat and light.
