What is the active ingredient in Pirinase Allergy 0.05% nasal spray? The active ingredient in Pirinase Nasal Spray is fluticasone propionate. Fluticasone propionate is a corticosteroid. This works by reducing the inflammation that happens in your nasal passages when you have hay fever or an allergic reaction, helping to clear a blocked nose and ease sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, and other symptoms for up to 24 hours.
