About the Author: Philip Photiou lives and works in the city of Plymouth and has always been interested in the town's early history. For many years he has researched the story of the civil war in and around Plymouth. Philip has written a number of articles for the Evening Herald, and has scripted a video production on the same subject. He has spent many years walking the battlefields, visiting the churches and towns, and searching out the characters that are described in his book, Plymouth's Forgotten War.17th century. " Hardback has red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Condition is very good with clean pages throughout and securely bound. Dust jacket has light fading to the spine and a crease to the the inside front flap, otherwise clean and intact. Published in 2005, first edition.
