Meticulously cut with impeccable polishing, Precisoa Genuine Spinel offers an excellent black colour tone and is widely regarded as the premium opaque black gemstone. With a lack of cleavage, spinel makes for a tough and durable stone. These Spinel stones are in the `Alpha Round Brilliant` cut, a re-imagined round cut, which achieves the most ideal ratio of brilliance, scintillation and fire ever exemplified. The `Alpha` cut includes a microscopic laser engraved Preciosa logo as proof of origin and authenticity. These spinel stones measure 3mm in size and are sold individually. Preciosa Genuine Spinel have a hardness of 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale and heat resistance of up to 1,200 degC/2,192 degF. These Spinel stones are suitable for the lost wax casting process. Preciosa fine jewelry stones, both synthetic and genuine, are responsibly sourced, fully produced in the Czech Republic and individually cut and polished to stunning perfection.
