The Premier Genista 100SE 22" 6pc Shell Pack is a special edition of the Genista classic celebrating 100 years of producing quality drum kits. The tom and snare drums feature a 5.6mm 7-ply premium birch shell for a full-bodied attack with a fast decay whilst the thicker 7.2mm 9-ply bass drum packs greater volume and punch thats perfect for studio work and live performances. The Genista 100SE incorporates many of Premiers great innovations over the last century such as the original 6mm under sizing on the toms for an easier tuning experience. In addition to this all Genista shells have been precision cut and feature a 45-degree bearing edge for optimal resonance. One of the most distinguishable features of the original Genista was its tension lug design. The bold castings a firm favourite for many drummers. All castings have been retooled from the original factory drawings for maximum authenticity performance and aesthetic. Each lug is subsequently fitted to their respective shell using an isolating moulded plinth to guarantee a larger than life uncompromising tone.

Promotion: Hardware to complement the shells The Genista 100SE includes Premier’s bespoke designed brackets with integral memory locks on the rack and floor toms. These offer great stability and reliability when it comes to setting up making them fantastic assets for high pressure scenarios like stage and studio performances. The inclusion of a low-profile ISO mounting system enhances the tonal resonance of the mounted toms offering additional sustain whilst reinforcing the classic Genista look. This when paired with the 2.3mm triple-flange hoops helps minimise the risk of undesirable overtones for articulate tom fills. Included Genista 100SE snare drum The Genista 100SE Special Edition shell pack comes complete with a 14’’ x 5.5’’ snare drum that includes the original 610 snare mechanism. This allows you to both quickly and easily change the snare head without affecting either the snares setting or tension. Collectors who want a special part of Premier’s centenary celebrations can pick up either a 14” x 5.5” or 14” x 7” snare as both can be purchased separately without the kit on the Gear4music website Stage-ready finishes The Genista 100SE boasts impressive aesthetics with the beautifully lacquered tri-band finish. The red bands showcase the grain creating the perfect contrast to the solid white that is reminiscent of one of the more distinctive colours seen on the Premier kits of yesteryear.
