The Premier Genista Classic 18" x 16" Floor Tom is a great upgrade choice for any advanced drummer or as an addition to any Premier Genista shell pack. Going back to Genistas roots the floor tom is made from an all-birch design that offers great punch and volume with exceptional attack and a fast sounding decay. The tonal quality of the shell makes the floor tom a great choice for a wide range of musical genres. The Genista floor tom shells boast the original Genista 6mm under sizing on their diameter. This design ensures an easier and more accurate tuning experience whilst guaranteeing optimal clarity and definition. All Genista shells are precision cut and feature a 45-degree bearing edge which helps to further increase attack resonance and sustain for optimum sound performance. The floor toms tension lug design was a firm favourite of many drummers who played the original Genista series. All castings have been retooled from the original factory drawings for maximum authenticity performance and aesthetic. Each lug is subsequently fitted to their respective shell using an isolating moulded plinth to guarantee a larger than life uncompromising tone.
