"Harry Fenn (1837-1911) was an English-born American illustrator, landscape painter, etcher, and wood engraver. From 1870 to around 1895 he was the most prominent landscape illustrator in the United States. He is also noted for his illustrations of Egypt, Palestine and the Sinai [and scenes like this one of Ventimiglia, Italy]" (adapted from Wikipedia article). Not dated but probably c 1860. One of a series published by Cassell, Petter & Gilpin. Ideal framing project. Very good condition for age. Slightly foxed in places; retains its tissue guard.
