This is the story of Hansard - the record of the proceedings of the Westminster Parliament. It is a 1952 publication The book is in generally fair condition, but the rear cover has split from the pages (see photos) and there is a similar problem at the front of the book. There is also foxing to the pages edges. What makes this book interesting is that it was previously owned by Luke Gerald Hansard a descendant of the originator, Luke Hansard. He has signed the book and also corrected (in pencil) some errors in the family tree description in the text. There is also a newspaper cutting relating to a later edition of the book.
