Charles Walter Stansby Williams (1886-1945) was a British poet, novelist, playwright, theologian, literary critic, and member of the Inklings, an informal literary discussion group associated with C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien at the University of Oxford. This book is a brief biography of Queen Elizabeth I, originally published in 1936. It is volume 71 of the publisher's 'Great Lives' series.
