A Revo ProPanel Air Filter Element replaces your vehicles paper air filter with a less restrictive foam element.On many vehicles this can be done in seconds. This quick and easy upgrade offers you an immediate increase in air flow.The tri-foam design ensures that different sizes of particulate are trapped at different layers allowing the filter to retain much more dirt before it loses effectiveness and needs cleaning.A paper filter does not offer this, losing effectiveness much more quickly as it absorbs dirt. The resulting reduction in air flowing into the engine robs it of power and efficiency.The stainless steel wire framework facilitates a more open mesh design which allows air to flow faster through the filter even at an angle.Unlike many aftermarket filters, the Pro-Panel filter does not mean any compromise in how much dirt is filtered.The filter is cleanable and reusable. It will also generally last twice as long as a paper filter before needing cleaning or changing.The material and design used ensures that you're not losing power on a stock engine and on a remapped engine the new map will be able to use the extra capacity offered to increase power.This is a great value performance modification. Your vehicles factory air box is likely well designed and upgrading it in this manner lets you get the most out of it without unduly increasing noise or making the vehicle look non-standard.
