The stand-out feature of our Richmond Benches is the soft curves that can be seen on the lovely scrolled arms and in the seating area. This, combined with the little ornate attentions to detail and slightly angled backrest make it feel like the classic park bench that stands proud and serves a purpose. In over twenty years of trading our garden benches can be seen in many commercial premises throughout the UK and we're lucky enough to have many customers who come back time and time again. And, out of all the various styles of bench we sell the Richmond is definitely one of the most popular. Not surprising really when you consider that each one is hand crafted from A Grade Teak and finished to super-smooth, exact specifications that result in bench that will last for years and beats the majority of other models on the market hands down, every time. Great for engraving as well ... The 1.5 metre sits four people comfortably. And we're sure we don't need to remind you that teak is, hands down, the best wood for outdoor use. Its dense, oily qualities give it natural resistance to the elements all year and make the possibility of cracking or splitting very unlikely indeed. The golden colour will age to a silver-grey over time but for cosmetic purposes this can be removed with mild, soapy water and a good scrub on a sunny day or you can take advantage of our teak care Products that are specifically designed for this process as well.
