Ron Colon quickly became the most awarded and innovative rum out there and is on a mission to showcase different flavors, industries, and processes; blending various styles to create new spirit experiences. RCS is committed to bridging history and continents in one bottle. In the aged Spirits game, we are accustomed to blending Whiskies and Brandies. But this is something completely different. Ron Colon RumRye is a blend of 50% Ron Colon Salvadoreno Dark Aged Rum and 50% American Straight Rye Whiskey. But it's actually more complex than even that. The Rum half is a blend itself -- a six year old Salvadoran Rum from Licora Cihuatan along with aged and un-aged Rum from Worthy Park, Monymusk, and Hampden Distilleries in Jamaica. The Rye in the blend is a four-year-old Straight Rye aged in #4 car casks. And they bottle this hybrid Spirit at a strong 50% ABV. You've got to taste it for yourself.
