PREPARE TO COLOUR Prepare to colour Do a skin test 48 hours before each application even if you have already used colouring products. Before you colour, make sure you have an old towel to protect your clothing and household surfaces, and a clock for timing. Read the in-box instructions to make sure you are familiar with Root-Touch Up application. Then you’re ready to begin. 1. MIX Put on gloves Put on Expert colourist Gloves. Place the plastic mixing tray on a flat, stable surface where it won’t tip over. A bathroom vanity works great! Pour activating lotion into mixing tray Pour the colour Activating Lotion (the bottle labeled “2”) into the mixing tray, then add the Permanent colour Creme (the tube labeled “1”). Add permanent colour creme Mix until colour is completely blended Use the Precision colour Brush to mix the contents together until the colour is completely blended. 2. APPLY Apply colour to roots Make sure your hair is dry, then gently brush or comb it into your preferred style. Use the Precision colour Brush to apply colour to your most visible roots at the hairline around the face, part and temples. Be sure to saturate your most visible roots with colour. Once your done applying the colour, set your timer for 10 minutes. Tip: If your greys are really stubborn, leave colour on for up to 15 minutes. Make sure to cover roots at hairline, part and temples 3. RINSE & GO After applying Root Touch-Up When your 10 minutes are up, rinse hair with warm water until the water runs clear. Style as usual. There’s not need to shampoo. You’ve got natural-looking colour that will last for 3 weeks!
