The North Wales volume is a definite First Edition, dated 1836, the second volume is undated but likely to also be 1836. Both in their original red cloth with gilt decoration and titling. North Wales has 261 pages plus 51 plates plus index; South Wales has 268 pages plus 48 plates plus index. Many of the plates (especially the engraved title page and its facing plate) are now quite foxed and occasionally this bleeds onto adjacent text pages, but the rest of the text is clean.
