10mm Round Natural gemstone Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale Thread hole size 1mm Healing properties: Cleansing, Healing, Calming Rutilated quartz is a variety of quartz, which contains naturally occurring needle like inclusions of either the minerals rutile or black tourmaline. Rutilated Quartz is a cleansing stone, promoting spiritual growth and relieving fears and anxieties. These beads measure approximately 10mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions and zoning may be present. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place rutilated quartz stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Rutilated quartz can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix and an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing rutilated quartz to prolonged periods of heat and light.
