Once the rider becomes more confident the Scout can be released to full power Other key safety features include fully enclosed footwells. The SMC Scout 90 is fitted with an electric start and Kickstart and also working headlights. The Scout 90 is the natural progression from the smaller SMC Cub 50. Just for reference we find this is most commonly purchased for children aged 610 years. SPECIFICATIONS 2 Stroke 90cc Fitted with a 2 stroke 90cc engine this singlecylinder really gets the Scout moving. But if you do really want to tire your kids out or your battery has died the Scout is also fitted with a kick start. For the quietest evenings we advise having the kill switch off before you let the kids kick it theyre smart theyll figure it out. Brakes Using a triple drum setup ensure equal braking performance and the stopping power you need to stay safe. Using drum rather than disc brakes means that even when getting the quad wet or covered in mud braking performance isn't adversely affected. Suspension Optimising performance with a twin shock front setup and then a monoshock rear suspension setup keeps that classic quad handling.
