Safety 1st SecurTech Pressure Metal Baby Safety Gate Recommended for children aged approx. 6 to 24 months, the Safety 1st SecurTech Metal Safety Gate combines simplicity, design, and quality for a strong U-shaped pressure fit gate. It is suitable to be used at doorways and staircases and fits openings from 73 to 80 cm. By installing additional extensions (sold separately) to sides of the gate it can be extended to cover a maximum width of 136 cm. Thanks to its four-point pressure system, Safety 1st SecurTech Simply Close Metal Gate is easy to install and creates pressure to hold the gate in place without being drilled into the wall. Made of steel, it is very strong and durable. The Safety 1st SecurTech Simply Close Metal Gate features a newly designed handle with SecurTech(r) colour indicator which provides parents added piece of mind. Green and red colour indicator are clearly shown when the gate is open or closed and reconfirm that the gate is installed with correct pressure. The new handle design allows one-handed opening and closing and features a new 2-step unlocking action which makes it difficult for children to open the gate by themselves. A secondary locking mechanism allows the option of a one way-two way opening. One handed opening both sides: this safety gate opens with one hand in both direction and closes simply with a gentle push, with a wide opening to allow you to pass by your child's side.. Self-adjusting: the initial misalignment at the level of the locking mechanism disappears by tightening the fixing screws in the frame. 4-point pressure fixation for added security Easy to tighten spindle with large cog.
