The Salewa Women's Mountain Trainer 2 Mid GORE-TEX is a robust, lightweight, alpine trekking boot with a hard-wearing suede leather upper and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane for weather protection. The upper also features a 360deg full protective rubber rand that is lightweight, flexible, and incredibly durable. A dual-density expanded PU midsole offers a good balance of cushioning and stiffness to cope with both steep ground and flat, rocky terrain. The Salewa 3F system provides more stability on the heel zone and increased lateral stability, while the Vibram outsole is engineered for improved grip and traction in a wide range of conditions. The customisable Salewa Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) with interchangeable layers allows you to finetune the volume, meaning a comfortable fit for a range of feet.

Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
